Data privacy

Protecting your personal data and privacy is very important to us. If on this website and as part of an order tool there is the possibility of entering personal data (ordering vouchers, requesting existing vouchers), disclosing your personal data is expressly done on a voluntary basis. The following personal data will be processed:

Ordering vouchers:

Please note that placing an order with incomplete data may mean that we cannot offer our (full) ordering service.

These personal data are processed for the purpose of providing you with personal support, to manage customer data, and to draw up orders and invoices; we therefore process them primarily to perform the contract and managing customer data is in our legitimate interest. As a rule, we store your personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship as well as beyond if we are legally obligated to do so-. We pass on your data to third parties only as part of order processing (e.g. to shipping companies or e-payment service providers). The order processor processes the data only to fulfil the order and in accordance with our instructions.

If you receive advertising from GMS GOURMET GmbH by post, SMS or email (e.g. information about promotions and special items, competitions etc.) or are sent our newsletter, then this is because you have agreed to this at an earlier time. If you would like to revoke your consent, please send an email to with “revocation of consent to advertising” in the subject line.

Whenever an order page of GMS GOURMET GmbH is accessed, certain data are collected (specifically the user’s IP address, the browser used, date and time, pages viewed) for the purposes of data security and user-friendliness. GMS GOURMET GmbH processes these data in a non-personal manner and – except where required by law or court order – they are not passed on to third parties. We reserve the right to statistically analyse these data in a non-personal manner.

You have the right to know which of your data we process, request incorrect data to be corrected and incorrect or unlawfully processed data to be deleted. In addition, in certain cases you have the right to demand that our data processing be restricted. This may be the case when you deny the accuracy of your personal data stored with us and we have yet to verify their correctness.

In the case of data processing that is in our legitimate interest (e.g. managing customer data), you have the right to object if there are substantial reasons that are the result of your specific situation and that outweigh our legitimate interests. You can object to direct marketing measures without restriction.

If you nonetheless fear that our data processing violates data privacy law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you have the option of submitting a complaint to the competent supervisory authority (the Austrian data protection authority).


The use of cookies
